Ahead of the ICCWS 2016 this week, four of our winery sponsors have put on tours for delegates to enjoy before or after the symposium.

Hush Heath Estate

Hush Heath Estate is hidden deep in the Garden of England, the Estate is home to our award winning English sparkling wine, Balfour Brut Rosé. Since its beginnings the Estate has grown its product range substantially and now boasts an exquisite selection of wines and ciders all produced from fruit grown in our beautiful vineyards and apple orchards.

The Estate comprises 400 acres of perfectly manicured vineyards, apple orchards and ancient oak woodlands rich with wildlife, flora and fauna all of which add to the beauty and provenance of what we produce.

We are offering a fully guided tour of our estate and winery, followed by a tutored tasting of our wines and ciders for ICCWS delegates on Monday 23rd May at 11am and Sunday 29th May at 11am.

The Estate is based in Staplehurst, Kent TN12 0HT and is accessible by train to Marden station, it is then only a 5 min taxi ride to the estate (ensure that book a taxi).

Rathfinny Wine Estate

Rathfinny Wine Estate

Rathfinny Wine Estate is a family owned sparkling wine producer based in Sussex. We have so far planted 180 acres since 2012 with the aim of producing up to 8000 hl of wine per annum when the estate is fully planted.

We are offering two free 30 min tours of Rathfinny Wine Estate for ICCWS delegates on Tuesday 24th May 11am or Monday 30th May 11am.

The winery is based south of Alfriston, BN26 5TU which is 25mins car journey from Brighton. It is also possible to get trains from Brighton to either Seaford or Berwick (Sussex) and it is a 5 mins taxi ride to the estate. Spaces are limited to 20 people on a first come first serve bases. Advanced booking needed. Please email in advance to apply and we will confirm your place by email.

Ridgeview Wine Estate

Ridgeview Wine Estate welcomes ICCWS delegates for a complimentary tour of the vineyard and winery followed by a tasting of their sparkling wine range. We will be running a number of tours before and after the ICCWS for delegates to book onto.

Ridgeview is a 15/20 minute drive from Brighton over the South Downs, just 1 mile North of the Village of Ditchling on the B2112 (post code BN6 8TP). We are also only a short 5 minute taxi drive from Burgess Hill station which is easily accessible from Brighton train station, around a 15 minute train journey.

Please email Ridgeview direct on or phone 01444 242040 to book onto these tours and please quote “ICCWS Delegate tour” so the tour is complimentary. Spaces will be reserved on a first come first served basis.

Delegates are also welcome to drop into Ridgeview cellar door tastings and sales if they do not wish have a tour. We are open every day from 11am to 4pm and no appointment is necessary.

Bolney Wine Estate

Bolney Wine Estate is one of the oldest names in English wine, established in 1972 and making award-winning wines ever since. Bolney have been awarded a number of medals at International competitions, including a recent Gold Outstanding for their Blanc de Blancs Magnum in the CSWWC.

The vineyards at Bolney Wine Estate are predominantly Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, together with a few other varieties that have proved extremely successful over the years.

We will offer the following complimentary tours & tastings for delegates:
