History of the ICCWS
Fine wines in cooler climes
Established in 1984, the International Cool Climate Wine Symposia focus on wine production in the cooler climate winemaking regions of the world.
With the 7th International Cool Climate Symposium held in Seattle, Washington in 2010 and the 8th International Cool Climate Symposium taking place in Tasmania in 2012. Several hundred delegates from all of the world’s winemaking regions were treated to a packed programme.
With involvement of all aspects, from growing, to making, to marketing, delegates gathered to discuss the latest research, to exchange information, to network with other wine producers, and to taste some spectacular examples of the wines.
